Wedding bells will soon be ringing for Kaley Cuoco and Tom Pelphrey.
On Wednesday afternoon, The Big Bang Theory alum announced on Instagram Stories that she’s engaged to the former Ozark star, showing off her ring and her new fiance and writing the simple words:
“Amazing weekend.”
Cuoco and Pelphrey met at the Ozark series finale premiere in 2022.
“We have the same manager, and we were set up by [her] which is so Hollywood,” Cuoco said in an interview with USA Today around that time.
“She’s like, ‘Oh my god, I think you guys are perfect for each other.’ We met at the Ozark premiere, and I was standing with Andrea [Pett-Joseph] and Tom walked in, and I heard his voice, and I turned around, and it was like my life was over or just starting. It hit me. It was love at first sight.
“We were immediately connected. I do feel like I’ve known him my whole life but I wasn’t ready for him. We’re ready to build a life together.”
The pair share daughter Matilda Carmine Richie, whom they welcomed in March 2023.
“The new light of our lives! We are overjoyed and grateful for this little miracle. Thank you to the doctors, nurses, family and friends who have helped us immensely over the last few days. We are blessed beyond belief,” Cuoco captioned a montage of photos of the newborn back then.
Added the actress upon this blessed occasion:
“@tommypelphrey didn’t think I could fall even more in love with you, but I did.”
Pelphrey jumped in with his own announcement that read as follows:
“My heart is full of love and gratitude for this miracle. Eternally grateful for the strength and bravery of my soulmate and best friend @kaleycuoco. You are incredible.”
Prior to her romance with Pelphrey, Cuoco was married to Karl Cook from 2018 to 2021 and then Ryan Sweeting from 2013 to 2016.
Her divorce with Cook was officially finalized in June 2022.
Pelphrey, for his part, dated actress Jaimie Alexander from 2018 to 2021.
Last month, Cuoco celebrated her future husband’s 42nd birthday with a lovely tribute on Instagram.
“42 never looked this damn good! happy birthday to my soul mate …. @tommypelphrey you make everything better.. what a life! I love you,” she wrote online.
